"Always good quality Italian dishes with a good price point."
5 Had the most amazing experience at Pastizzi! ???????? Their pastizzi were absolutely divine - perfectly flaky pastry filled with deliciousness! The Maltese flavors really took me back to the streets of Valletta. The highlight, though, was the incredible service from the Italian waiter. He was exceptionally kind and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Can't wait to visit again! Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Maltese cuisine and warm hospitality.
5 Best food in Newtown. You can never go wrong here either it’s brunch or a family dinner. I have never had a bad meal in 15 years.
5 Been going here since I was a little kid and have always loved it so much! The pastizzis are so flaky, soft and perfectly salty - the eggplant bocconcini pastizzi has become a new favourite (really good!). The pastas are all great and you definitely get what you pay for. Not a big place but great little spot.
5 Discover a one-of-a-kind pastry shop that fuses the delicious flavours of Maltese and Italian cuisine. The moment you step inside, you'll be greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who are more than happy to assist you with anything you need. Indulge your taste buds with the perfectly blended coffee that is made with the finest ingredients. It's no wonder why it tastes so good! But the star of the show is undoubtedly the pastizzi pastry. This crispy delicacy is available in both sweet and savoury flavours, and it's so delicious that you won't be able to resist going back for more. If you choose to dine in, the staff will gladly warm up your pastizzi pastry for you, ensuring that you enjoy it to the fullest. And if nature calls, there's an internal toilet available for your convenience. You can experience the delectable treats and friendly atmosphere that this pastry shop has to offer.
5 First time visiting Sydney, walking around Newtown, and the Maltese Cross immediately caught my eye. Being from Malta (native) I was super impressed with the pastizzi here! They were as delicious as back home. I didn't try their other stuff, but the pasta definitely seemed incredible. As a Local, I always go for the Pea Pastizzi, but while being there I had a taste of ricotta, as well as their vegetable pastizzi (which is not made back home. But was super impressed!) The layers of the pastry are definitely on point. Francesco immediately recognised my accent, and welcomed me as if I was back in Malta. The atmosphere is warm, cosy and heart warming. If you wish to have the closest taste of what Malta, and Italian cuisine provides, then look no further. Service with a smile, and a heart of gold. Thank you Francesco, I'll surely drop by whenever I'll be in Sydney. Grazzi Ħafna, Grazzie Mille. Maltese Approved ! ???????? Nikolas x
5 Amazing ricotta gnocchi , enjoyed the cream donut, coffee and pastries too. Casual comfy atmosphere with warm service. Hope to be back to try more pastas 2nd visit update: Added pictures of food from my second trip. Still recommend the ricotta gnocchi
5 Felt like a quick snack so dropped in as I was walking past. Pastizzi are juicy inside with lots of filling and crispy on the outside. They go well with the tomato garlic sauce on them. I had spinach ricotta, ricotta feta and chilli con carne. Was more than a snack, more like a meal. I need to stop by more often.
5 Came here with my partner and daughter and partners cousin this evening. we had a really good feed price was good so full lots of flavour worth coming here for a feed !!! Recommend !!
